Relocalization, Global Warming, and "Peak Oil" -- when global oil supply peaks and starts its inexorable decline. Which is imminent, if not past already. Using the remaining easy oil to develop the habits, tools, and techniques to live well with much less energy, while cutting CO2 by 3/4 to cut the rise in atmospheric avg temps to less than 2C (probably requires CO2 less than 450 ppm) to avoid SOME of the worst pain of the climate change we've unleashed.
